Desk Clamp Mount for Power Bar

I ordered this remote because the default remote was not available at the time that I ordered by desk. My wife had ordered a desk with the default remote and it's fine.

This remote works fairly well. The hide-away is nice for keeping your desk looking clean. However, this remote suffers from what I consider to be a design flaw: you have to touch a button to wake it up first and then touch the button again to make it do something. Additionally, when waking it up, your finger has to touch *exactly* on the icon to make it wake up. If you miss and touch the empty space around the icon but still within the bounds of the button, it doesn't wake up. This is exacerbated by the fact that when the buttons are asleep, they're hard to see because they're not lit up. This makes for a frustrating user experience.

I don't know why the buttons go to sleep. It's not like the remote is battery powered and thus has to conserve power. It's also not like the buttons will be accidentally activated when you hide it under the desk -- they only activate when touched by your finger.

With recent health issues this electronic desk has really aided me in my work place. It is a much more economical choice than purchasing a new desk but provides the benefits to sit or stand and change positions as often as needed. Set up was so easy and delivery time was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase with this company in the future or recommend this product.

This accessory to my existing ProgressiveDesk setup has been very useful for reducing the amount of stuff on my desk - especially important for a tight desk setup. Reasonably easy to install (depending on the firmness of your desk - I have the Bamboo Progressive Desk tabletop, had no issues installing with a drill), although there wasn't much space to properly line up my drill when drilling in - not the end of the world. My PC wobbles a bit when touched gently, but still feels solidly attached; a decent achievement for my heavy rig! Docking a star because the design choice of putting a turnkey on the bottom of the frame means that my desk can no longer go quite as low as I would like - I think it would be better design for that adjustment to happen at the side of the frame. That said, it's only about a half inch lost, so not a huge issue. Overall, definitely satisfied with the purchase!

I've had one of these mounted on my desk for 2-ish years now, it does a great job. I just bought another one to keep in storage just in case I have another desk or table to setup. They're so simple and handy, all the other headphone hangers just seem clumsy and messy compared to these ones.

If you order it it'll have some screws that are hard to instal, you don't need them, don't bother with them. The adhesive that comes on it is more than enough for a few some headphones and some cables.
